Holiday Rentals in Javea

About Javea

Holiday rentals in Javea. Javea's 20 km of beautiful, varied coastlineJavea sits on the South-Eastern coast of Spain in North Costa Blanca. With Moraira and a few of the other local towns it is often referred to as the Jewel in the Crown of Costa Blanca. With Javea’s 20 kilometres of coastline and dramatic scenery it is easy to see why.

Holiday rentals in Javea are very popular offering a fantastic destination for renting a holiday villa. Javea is split into three distinct areas. There’s the old town centre, slightly inland and full of traditional Spanish character with excellent shops and the venue for the local weekly market. Then there is the fishing port, still active and lined with restaurants, cafes and bars. The fishing boats lie side by side with the yachts and motor boats. Finally there is the fantastic Arenal beach front. A perfect sandy, gently-shelving, crescent-shaped beach that attracts many loyal fans from far and wide.

Wherever you stay Javea offers a great holiday for all ages. Only one slight point to be aware of, the Arenal beach area can get quite lively in July and August when the cafes and bars are filled with the young (and young at heart!) looking to eek out every hour of the day.

Javea's Beaches

Javea's promenade around the Arenal beachThere are a few lovely beaches spread out along Javea’s 20 kilometres of coastline; small pretty coves, beaches ideal for snorkeling from and of course the near perfect Arenal beach. All the larger beaches have beach bars and restaurants allowing you to make a day of it and keep you hydrated. There is pretty much every kind of watersport on offer on the beaches.

Without doubt the most popular beach is the Arenal beach with its fine sandy, gently-shelving bay and clear, inviting waters. Arenal and most of the other beaches carry the EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness award. The beach is spotlessly cleaned every night so it can be enjoyed to its full potential each day. For most visitors, Arenal beach is as far as they go for the beach. But take time to explore the other offerings and you won’t be disappointed.

Javea's Weather

Javea shares the same near perfect climate with Moraira and is part of the area that was recommended as being one of the most equitable climates in the World from the World Health Organisation.

A healthy average yearly temperature of above 20 degrees Celsius, 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and an average 325 sunny days a year, it is easy to see why this area has such loyal visitors and a fairly large community of visitors who decided to make it their permanent residence.
